About Coach Gerald
Baseball has been integral to Gerald Laird’s life since Little League. Excelling on his High School team at La Quinta in Southern California led him to be drafted as a catcher in the second round by the Oakland A’s at 18 years old. After a successful run in the MLB including winning the 2011 World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals and a total tenure of 13 years in the Big Leagues, he has dedicated his life to coaching young players.
